Join Western New York’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Enjoy the 39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Niagara Falls Convention Center on March 17. This family-friendly event begins at 4:45 p.m. with the “World’s Shortest Parade,” from the corner of Rainbow and Old Falls streets into the entrance of the Convention Center on Old Falls Street. Listen to authentic Irish music provided by The Restless Soles, with entertainment by the McCarthy School of Irish Dance. Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Kids 12 and under receive free admission. Buy tickets now!

Tourism Ireland’s “Global Greening” meets Niagara Falls

In partnership with Tourism Ireland’s “Global Greening” campaign, Niagara Falls will be illuminated green for 15-minutes at the top of every hour from 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. Niagara Falls joins many other iconic landmarks such as the Egyptian Sphinx and Pyramids, London Eye, Empire State Building and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

A Lucky Birthday

Along with St. Patrick’s Day festivities, there is another special reason to celebrate: the City of Niagara Falls is turning 131! On March 17, 1892, the villages of Niagara Falls and Suspension Bridge merged to form the City of Niagara Falls, New York.
